The Falls

We took a little trip to the local falls this week. We went because my very bestest friend...we have known each other since I was 10, so we've known each other a long time...feel free NOT to do the math...anywho...my friend was here visiting for a week.

She is the best.
this picture is a little old...probably should have snapped a new one

We did a lot of cooking, hanging out, and some more hanging out. I was a little boring this trip with my debilitating baby exhaustion and all. We still had a lot of fun though.

Like this trip over to the falls.

I might covet my friends' camera. She has this lens that I dream of fort-nightly. She snapped some pics of two of the Little Men while we were at the falls.

So cute!

She even snapped a picture of me, prego belly and all. I threatened her with death if she got my every growing fanny in the shot. She listened beautifully!

I hope you guys all notice the absence of snow and the fact that I am not wearing  parka! The weather is still a little chilly, but better than having snow on the ground.

Hope you are all enjoying your Fall weather.

Thank You For Being A Friend

Okay, who is now singing the Golden Girls theme song in their heads (Natalie I know you are!)?

So this post is dedicated to my very good friend Amy. Well why would my friend Amy get a whole blog post shout out...I like her better than all of you...KIDDING! No, Amy gets her very own blogoshpere shout out because she left me. My friend and her family left yesterday in route to Klamath Falls, Oregon. I will miss her in more ways than she probably knows. In fact, I am pretty sure everyone will miss her in ways she will never understand.

She is truly one of the nicest people that I have ever met. She is compassionate, she is non judgemental, she is sincere, she is charitable, she is funnier than all get out, she is a hard worker, she is creative, she is patient, she is an example of a good mom, well okay she is an example of a lot of great gospel principles.

Bottom line- we were destined to be friends from the very first time I met her. True a friendship like ours can't be divided by several thousand miles...but I will miss seeing her all the time. I will miss hanging out with her family. Cole will miss Lauren (yes everyone this is the family of his future bride).

Seavers, we love you. Lauren, Cole loves you. AMY, I love you. We will miss you, you are the greatest.
Sorry Amy, hope you had some tissues with you.

All By Myself

All my day help is officially gone...sigh...wah...wah. Thanks to my mom for the first phase of help...Jack is still upset you went home. Thanks to Richelle who took over when my mom left. They both played, entertained, nanny-ed, fetched, cleaned, and corralled. I am not sure what I would have done without you guys here.

Case's room got done thanks to my mom:

Easter eggs got done thanks to Richelle:

Obviously many other things got done thanks to the super women. SO thanks again!

Now on to this new phase in my life...I know I can do it. Stay tuned for how I project out my crazies and continue to grow accustomed to this wonderful new stage of mommyhood.
Probably should add this little PS: Nothing would be copeable (I know not a real word) without my live in help that hot hubby of mine. He helped out too!
