Easter Teacher Appreciation Tags: Thirty Handmade Days

My April project for Thirty Handmade Days include these really magical and ridiculously cute Marshmallow Peep Bunnies. Could you die?

I did. Then I pulled myself together. Then I may have bought a whole bunch so I could give them away as an Easter Teacher Appreciation. I made a cute little tag using PicMonkey with an appropriately cheesy saying on it. I also made a non-teacher tag in case you want to just let a special someone know that some bunny (that would be you) thinks they are special.

Both tags are available to download over at Thirty Handmade Days.
Head over and download these tags and say hi!

LUCKY To Have Teachers Like You {printable}

First, if you are looking for the winner of the Staples Space Heater,
visit the Just Another Day in Paradise Facebook page to see if it might be you.

With St. Patrick's Day quickly approaching, I decided it would be the perfect time to complete a fun and easy St. Patrick's Day Teacher Appreciation gift.

As I have mentioned probably more times than you want to read, this year my PTO responsibility (Doesn't that sound legit? I try.) is Teacher Appreciation. I love our teachers and I kind of geek out over making them feel special.

For St. Patrick's Day I made up a fun printable using PicMonkey. I used some rainbow chip cookies and gold-wrapped Rolo candies as the treat. Get it, gold at the end of the rainbow. Probably didn't have to explain that did I? Haha!

I popped everything in a cellophane treat bag and then tied it closed and attached the tag with extra green and extra cute trims and fabrics.

Could you die over that pom pom trim? I love pom pom trim. LOVE.

These are super easy to whip out.

All you need is:

rainbow chip cookies
gold-wrapped candies
cellophane treat bags
trim and fabric cut in strips

Then all you have to do is assemble and drop off to your much-appreciated teachers.

How easy was that? Super duper easy.

Let your teachers know how lucky you feel to have them. Teachers could always hear it more I am sure.

Thanks for reading!

CRUSH Teacher Valentine (Printable)

Here is an easy last minute valentine that is perfect for the teachers at your school that I am totally crushin' on. Sorry I had to.

This year for PTO (which is just like PTA by the way), I was beyond happy to have the assignment of Teacher Appreciation. I have kind of geeked out over ways to show the teachers at our school we love them. Our teachers are pretty much all that is awesome. I feel it is so important to thank a teacher and to make them feel as special as they are.

Like I said, here is an easy and fun way to say Happy Valentine's Day to your school's teachers. A little valentine to let them know that you are crushin' on them.

All you need to make this Crush Valentine is cans of Crush Soda (I used grape to match the tags) and this CRUSH Teacher Valentine Printable.

I made this Crush Valentine Tag using PicMonkey (I am working on a post letting you know how I use this magical photo editing site). I removed the PTO part so that it is more generic and can be used by more people.

Once you have the soda and the printable, all you have to do is cut out the tags and tie them onto the cans of Grape Crush Soda.

Nothing easier. Nothing sweeter. Nothing better than thankin' a teacher.

Thanksgiving Teacher Gift: Hand Pies

This year at the Little Men's school I am in charge of teacher appreciation. If you follow me on Instagram (and I totally think that you should...hehehe...@larissa_anotherday), then you have already seen a sneak peak of these little thankful pies.

I made simple hand pies with premade pie crusts and canned pie filling. So easy. I cut circles out using the top of a glass. Filled each pastry with one tablespoon of pie filling. Then I topped each pie with another circle of pie crust and sealed it with the tongs of a fork. Bake. Cool.

Then I packaged them all up.

I used really simple supplies, all which I bought from The Mart.

I flattened a cupcake liner and used it to lay the pie on. Then I put the pie into a paper CD envelope.

I used a paper doily and a small flattened truffle paper liner for the tags.

I hand wrote a little message in a gold Sharpie...my new favorite thing.

I used a plain clothespin to attach the tag. Then I just repeated a bunch of times...enough for all our teachers.

I am grateful for good teachers. I kind of geek out over thinking of ways to thank our teachers. I had a lot of fun with these little Thanksgiving pies.

Happy Thanksgiving!!!

Teacher Gift: An INKcredible Year

School is in full swing and a bit of the newness has worn off.

In fact, most of us have moved on to Fall and Halloween projects.

However, I just couldn't completely say good bye to Back to School projects without showing this fun Back to School Teacher Gift.

I created this Excited for an INKcredible Year tag. I used PicMonkey's new School U. I am IN LOVE with the penmanship fonts available. AND don't even get me started on the dotted lines. Why I do believe I love them more.

I bought a bunch of pens.

I took a few canning jars and decorated the outside with decorative Duck Tape. Then I loaded the jars up with pens.

Then I attached the tag with a strip of fabric.

So easy AND it isn't too late to still wish your new teacher a happy school year (plus maybe earn some brownie points).

Here is three versions of the same tag--
One for black pens, one for blue pens, and one for red pens.

I know so many delightful options...okay so maybe only three...but hey options are
options, right?!?

Just right click and save which ever tag you like.

Happy Back to School!

What is Your SuperPOWER? {A Teacher Gift}

We have still not gone back to school around here.

We are close though. Oh. So. Close.

Supplies are bought.
Clothes are picked (by me of course, I mean I do have boys so they don't care what they wear).
Back to school night attended.
Teachers met.
PTO assignments started.

This year I am super excited for my PTO responsibility.

Teacher Appreciation.

I love me some some teacher appreciation. I love great teachers and I love coming up with creative ways to cheer teachers on.

Previously, I have just done things for my kid's teachers, but this year I get to pamper all the teachers.

I wanted to start the school year off right with a little Welcome Back to School gift.

One of my favorite teacher tag lines is "I am a teacher, what is your superpower?" I first heard it years ago when my SIL, who is a teacher, told me about it.

So I that is where my inspiration came from.

For my POWERade What is SuperPOWER? Teacher Gift.

I picked out red and blue Powerade, because well those are pretty awesome superhero colors.

I made some coordinating tags.

I made a chalkboard sign and a superhero tag. I used PicMonkey, because well I love them. AND because they have a new "School U" full of all kinds of schooltastic tools, overlays, edits, and fonts. Goosh, I love it all.

I made the red tag and the black chalkboard to go with the red Powerade. The blue tag and the green chalkboard go with the blue Powerade. I actually printed them off like photos, but they would also print great from your home computer.

I have the images for you here on the little old blog. Just click the image and download to your computer. Then use a word type document to print off as many as you need.

I bought coordinating straws. Yes, yes, I do really like things to coordinate. I kind of geek out over coordinating colors.

I cut out the tags. Hole punched them and then tied them on to the bottle with, why yes that would be piece of coordinating fabric.

There ya have it.

20+ Welcome Back to School gifts for our teachers.

I also made a couple of teacher gifts just from the boys' to their teachers. I will share soon!

Happy Back to School!

Teacher Gift: A TOTEally Awesome Teacher- FREE Printable

I can't believe the end of the school year is practically here.

I can't believe it is almost Summer and all too soon I am going to have to be entertaining a small pack of wild and crazies. Ugh, let's not think about that just yet...

For now let's focus on all the wonderful teachers. I love great teachers. Every time I go into one of the boys' classrooms and help out I am reminded at just how hard it is to be a teacher. I sure want to make sure great teachers know they are great teachers.

Teacher's Appreciation Week was only a few weeks ago. I shared with you my Teacher Appreciation Gift "Thanks for Being a SOAPer Teacher".

Even though the two are close together, I also like giving an end of the school year gift to our teachers.

I really wanted to make a tote and use the cheesy phrase "TOTEally Awesome Teacher." Then I found this gloriously Summery chevron and I knew the bag was meant to be.

I gave a little sneak peak of this Teacher Gift yesterday on Instagram

Yes people I have finally joined and I am slowly...okay not so slowly...and very surely loading up my Instagram with photos. Follow along (@larissa_anotherday)

I designed and sewed this little tote bag. (tutorial in the works)

Perfect for our teachers to haul things to the beach, the library, or a park during their Summer break.

Then once school is back in they can TOTE around (hehehe, sorry I had to) planners, lunch, books, and other teachery things.

I folded the bag up and added in a coordinating little chalk board. I was fortunate to have some of these chalkboards left over from Little's Charlie Brown Birthday Party.

I tied it all up with a scrap of fabric that I had left over from the inside lining.

Then I printed off  the tag that I designed in PicMonkey.

Then I slipped the tag on the gift. One TOTEally easy and TOTEally lovely gift for one TOTEally awesome teacher. Really I just couldn't seem to help myself...hahaha.

Such an easy and fun way to thank a teacher.

Here is a tag you can download by right clicking and saving it to your computer.

You can just attach it to any tote--store bought or handmade. Easy as that.

What is your favorite way to thank your awesome teachers?

Teacher Appreciation Week: For a SOAPer Teacher

EDIT: I have fixed the post, so that the printable images
are now available! Just scroll down.

It is Teacher Appreciation week. We love our teachers! We have had some fabulous, fabulous teachers.

Today I am sharing one of our teacher appreciation gifts.

This year one of the ideas I had involved some gloriously, lovely, and altogether delightful smelling handmade soap. Then I came up with on oh-so clever tag line...

"Thanks for being a SOAPer teacher"

I know, I know you are dying from my cleverness.

I ordered my handmade soap from Rachael's Homemade Soap Shop. I ordered black raspberry vanilla and honey almond oatmeal.

They are so pretty!

They also smell divine. Divine I tell you.

Then I whipped up two different tags in Picmonkey. One telling the kind of soap, and the other with the SOAPer teacher tag line.

I packaged up the soap in a berry container. Then I tied some fabric around it and used a clothespin to attach the tags.

Here are the tags just for you. You can click and save them to your computer. Then just insert it into a Word document and print it off. You could use this idea with handmade soap or even fancy and lovely hand soap in a pump.

Happy Teacher Appreciation week to all the fabulous teachers we know!
