When I Turn My Back

The boys decided they were going on a trip...this has been a recent thing that they have liked to pretend. Sometimes Jack even tries to go into the garage and get in one of the cars, yeah that is a load of fun. They will decide where they are going, pack their bags (or boxes or pockets) and go on their trip.

Yesterday I am not sure where they were planning on going on their trip, but they packed light. Here is a picture documenting what they took with them.

Can you tell what they packed? They think that it is medicine for daddy!

All By Myself

All my day help is officially gone...sigh...wah...wah. Thanks to my mom for the first phase of help...Jack is still upset you went home. Thanks to Richelle who took over when my mom left. They both played, entertained, nanny-ed, fetched, cleaned, and corralled. I am not sure what I would have done without you guys here.

Case's room got done thanks to my mom:

Easter eggs got done thanks to Richelle:

Obviously many other things got done thanks to the super women. SO thanks again!

Now on to this new phase in my life...I know I can do it. Stay tuned for how I project out my crazies and continue to grow accustomed to this wonderful new stage of mommyhood.
Probably should add this little PS: Nothing would be copeable (I know not a real word) without my live in help that hot hubby of mine. He helped out too!

I Just Need Time/Money/Skills

In a brief moment of silence (one kid downstairs/one napping/one being rocked by Richelle), I was coupon hunting and decided to splurge on some blog stalking time. I came across The Purl Bee. How cute and quaint some people are! I really wish I were one of them...but I decided I wanted to accomplish one of her projects...I can do it!

Check out this tutorial on little boys ties. I will let you know how it goes...now in reality don't expect this anytime soon. I lose all my helper bees tomorrow. However, a project often gives me an outlet for all the crazies, so maybe it will happen sooner than I think.

Our 3 Boys

With Richelle here, we are taking advantage of her glorious Costco card (was we also did when my mom was here...I know we should just get our own membership already) to print off some pictures.

Going through pictures always takes me down a nostalgic memory lane. So because I was feeling all warm and fuzzy about my boys you get to see a picture of each as a baby. Lucky you! Let me just say nothing reminds you of how precious time really is until you go back and realize how much your kids have grown!

Bring on all things Easter

Okay so we dyed eggs, check! Easter Bunny came, check! Boys hunted for Easter eggs, check! Got boys all dressed up on Sunday in matching outfits, check! Crammed myself into new Easter dress with hopes of not loathing whithering/jiggling baby bump, check (except the loathing part, still happened)! Got Easter Lupper (lunch/supper) on table, check! Took pictures of almost every second, check!

Went to church and remembered what all this is really about, check! Got Case out right after sacrament as to not contaminate cuddly newborn with inevitable ward germies, check!

Here are the pictures...not sure if I am posting the fam one just yet...if it makes the end of the post that will mean that I swallowed my pride and posted a plumpy picture of myself...I am all a flutter with anticipation to see what I do!

Okay so obviously posted family picture. No need for uplifting comments...not my intent for posting pic or for my little rant about how I look. Just decided to not be a dork and let it get to me. My family is more important to me than some lingering fluff...at least that is what I keep repeating to myself.

One Week Ago

It is hard to imagine that it was only a week ago that I was praying for sweet relief and wondering what in the heck I had gotten myself into. But a week it has been, and to be honest a great week at that with only a couple of exceptions.
Case is doing marvelous. He took right to nursing (thank heavens) and sleeps really well. He is pretty mild mannered and can sleep right through all the chaos...which brings me to the only difficult part of the week...a sick and tired Jack.
Case looks a lot like Jack and so I decided to try to duplicate Jack's first week picture with Case and then show them both to you. BUT after I took the pictures I realized that maybe they don't look as much alike as I thought. Oh well, I will still post them both.

Pictures of Case

So we returned home from the hospital yesterday and all has gone very well since then. Of course it only took a few hours until we got the first, "I hate Case" courtesy of Cole. He didn't want to elaborate on that one at the time, but it seemed to be just a moment as both boys have really done well with Case. It also helps to have Rissa's mom here to give some added attention to the boys. After she leaves, Rissa's friend from Washington, Richelle, comes for a couple of weeks. We are not looking forward to how things will be once the extra help ends.

Anyway, the real reason for this post is to finally put up some pictures.
