This week I had a lot of homemade gifts to finish...now before you go applauding me or doing the whole "There she goes again Martha, Martha, Martha"...the baby girl presents and the love birds family tree were actually supposed to be Christmas presents...oops...haha.
I am so glad that I finally finished them, as I am sure are the recipients!
I love how this girlie blankie turned out.
How sweet is this little headband. I just love the colors and the big fabric flower. I had so much fun making it. I will be doing a tutorial for this head band on Tuesday, so come back to check it out.
This week is the first time I have sewed anything girlie. It was pretty fun.
BUT since I only have boys, I had to get my boy quota sewing in too.
I made this bunch of Little Man Ties for my friends soon-to-come little man. I will be sharing with you next week a revision of the little man tie tutorial, since now I have fabric measurements instead of just using an old place mat, after all it can be hard to find cute manly place mats.
In between getting all my projects done this week, the SUN CAME OUT.
Spring is coming and we love spring.

who was the totally lucky person who got the adorable ties?! They are so lucky! Thanks again. I love them!
dang.. how do you sew the minky dot fabric so well? I have a hard time sewing with it. It stretches in all directions and it never turns out straight. Have any hints for me?
Oh I didn't sew it very perfectly! Hopefully no one looks too close! It does stretch all funny. I actually sewed two sides at a time and then make sure the edges were right. SO annoying, but it will do.
I love the cute little ties!! They look so fun for little boys to wear. I love all the crafts on your blog. You are so talented!!
