Have Your Cake...Oh and You Can Eat it Too

Merciful Heavens. Last week was one of those weeks that leaves you exhausted, brain-dead, a little coo-coo-cachoo, and swearing on all that is holy that you will never do any of it again (sorry hubby that passes, it will probably happen again). I won't bore you with the list of what I either took on or got myself into...

Instead lets focus on this baby...

Cole's Golf Birthday Cake, to of course accompany Cole's Golf Birthday Party. This year Cole asked for a miniature golf party. I might have danced a little at the thought of not having to come up with something to do at home...crisis dodged when I couldn't find an indoor course and I thought I was going to have to build a course in my house...I found an indoor golf course, so all that I had to do was the CAKE, a little deco at home, and goodie bags.

Deco was simple-

a "green" table runner

brown square plates
brown cups
flag shaped goodie bags

Cole had a blast with his little man friends. From this picture you can tell we had our hands full! The golf course was a glow in the dark one, so good pictures were scarce.

After golfing, we came back home for lunch...

and cake.

My oldest little man isn't quite 6 yet. I still can't believe how old he is. We had a great day. I am glad he is ours. What fun to have boys.

You are amazing, I will keep saying that until both of us are old and grey. The cake looked wonderful. All the golfers in this family should be so impressed.

Way to go! His party turned out so cute! I love the cake and the party favors - just everything! I know a few big kids that would love a golf party like that.
