(list of these lovely ladies and their blogs at the end)
I recently was one of a pretty awesome group of women bloggers who got invited to our local DownEast for a Spring Mixer.
Our Blogger's night out was by far one of the most fun nights I have had in a long time.
Great girls to party with and a great store to have the party in.
DownEast Home & Clothing is one of my favorite local stores.
I love their furniture.
They have a great selection of current and trendy pieces for pretty insanely reasonable prices. In fact, thanks to them I own a pretty comfy and awesome sectional and a lovely table and chairs.
Now I have a couple of new items on my house wish list.
This super cozy leather arm chair is number one on said list. I can already picture myself all curled up in it.
I am obviously in love with nail head trim right now.
They also always have pieces that are original and fun.
Could you die over this Union Jack coffee table?
Now, the store is called DownEast Home & CLOTHING...
So let's just talk a second about the clothing.
Sigh. Love.
I really, really, really want this fedora.
Their swimsuits are out in all their glory trying hard to encourage the sun to come out and the snow to melt.
Since I needed a new suit this year, I happily purchased this chevron suit. I am very excited for the Summer.
I love the prints and colors.
This polka dot blouse was ridiculous...you might see it again.
I also kind of wish I had crazy-mad-style and could pull of these pants like Sadie from Simply Sadie Jane.
While we love their furniture, I am sure it wasn't shocking to find all of us girls mesmerized by all the clothing. There was oohing and ahhing.
There was loading up dressing rooms and trying on.
Lots of trying on and I am taking these ladies with me whenever I need to try clothes on in the future.
Everyone was so sweet to each other. There was plenty of,
"You look awesome!"
"That outfit looks amazing on you!"
"I love that!"
"Oh my gosh, you look so cute!"
There was also plenty of,
"You totally need to get that!"
"You should buy that for sure!"
See what I am saying about taking these girls with me every time I go shopping? What girl doesn't want to hear all that?
Just like the other girls, I loaded up my dressing room and tried on some great clothes.
This was a dress I had seen online and had been coveting ever since. So feminine and Springy. LOVE.
Sigh, they only had it in a x-small but I tried it on anyway. When I needed assistance to get the zipper up I knew this lovely would not be coming home with me.
Insert cry face.
You feel pretty bad for me don't you?
Well don't worry I found something else to ease my sorrows.
Remember the black polka dot blouse I loved in the beginning of this post...
They make it in red.
Red. Love.
Then to top it off I found this ultra cute black with white bows cardigan.
The two pieces were instant friends. I was so happy to introduce them.
Now how could I separate them after I introduced them?
Well, I just couldn't. They are now the best of gal pals hanging up in my closet.
Speaking of gal pals...
I enjoyed myself so much. I don't often do girls nights, especially since moving. The 2-hour event flew by and before I knew it we were hustling out to the sound of vacuums as the store was getting ready to close.
I left with some awesome purchases, some items on my wish list, and a whole bunch of new girls to hang out with.
Thank you DownEast so much for throwing this event. I know that myself as well as all of these cute bloggers thoroughly enjoyed this Spring Mixer.
Lovely bloggers...go and say hi to them.

I shouldn't post comments without proofreading. I meant to say you have such a fun photography style!
It was SO dang fun! I want to do it again!
Seriously, I think they should just block off every other week for us...not that I can afford it!
